What is the Texter™?The Texter™ allows you to use your controller to type on a PC! Type the way you game!
The Texter™ lets your game controller work just like a keyboard for in-game and online messaging and chatting. Typing text is fully integrated into the game controller without affecting game play.
The Texter™ is a simple typing method that appears right on your PCs monitor during game play. Start the Texter with a simple double click of your controller's start button. Once activated, you can use your controller joysticks to type! Click the start button again to get right back to your game.
The two joysticks type everything you'll find on a regular keyboard. Learning is easy with color and character rings that appear right on your monitor. You have complete control over the ring size, colors, transparency, location on the monitor, etc. The Texter™ doesn't replace the way you currently type but provides an alternative to on-screen keyboards and USB keyboards for in-game messaging and online chatting. With the Texter™, there is nothing in the way, nothing to pick up or put down. Easy to use, fast and accurate typing right from your favorite controller.
- It doesn’t matter which joystick you move first.
- A character is automatically typed when the two joysticks reach their positions.
- Developed to be easy to use. If you know the alphabet, you can type using the Texter.
- Animated rings make it easy to learn and to type characters.
- “Up to speed” in a few days. Most gamers can learn to type over 25 wpm with it.
- The Texter has 128 “key” and mouse. It’ll do everything a keyboard will do.
- A control panel allows you to easily change the on-screen ring size, position, color, transparency, and many other features.
- To turn on or off the Texter, simply push the ‘back’ or ‘select’ button on your controller.
Who uses the Texter™?
With game control and typing right under your thumbs at all times, the Texter™ is for anyone who needs to enter text while playing their video games or simply wants to chat online. It's for online gamers who need to message with their buddies and enemies. It's perfect for entering user IDs and cheat codes. Use the Texter™ anywhere you would normally use a USB keyboard or an on-screen keyboard.
